What’s your biggest business win?
Growing our studio from one teacher to 6 teachers and adding an administrative assistant. Having the time to create my first online course for teachers.

How does knowing your numbers help with your business’s success?
It's allowed me the ability to provide a quality service and pay for quality teachers. This keeps families invested in learning piano with us, keeping student turn over at a minimum.

What is one of the main reasons your business is succeeding?
SYSTEMS! This year we have focused on setting up repeatable systems in the studio which saves me time and allows more time to work on the other part of my business coaching and creating courses for piano teachers.

What business finance advice would you give to fellow business owners?
Stop guessing at your numbers and stop trying to do it all alone. Get professional help!

What positive changes have you noticed since partnering with Silver Leaf Office?
Having Brittney as a sounding board for the times when I want to increase studio rates or increase teacher wages has been invaluable. What advice would you give to other business owners who are considering hiring a bookkeeper?
Do it before you think you need it. You may think it seems like an expense you are not ready for, but you will definitely save time and gain confidence when you know your numbers. Then as. your business grows, you will already have systems in place that can grow with you!
